NECTAMOT (4.7%) NZ Pilsner
Crisp, crushable and aromatic, fermented cool with S23 lager yeast on a simple NZ pilsner malt base. Dry hopped with generous amounts of two of NZ’s punchiest fruity hops, Nectaron and Motueka.
NELCASPOMONA (5.6%) XPA
Another simple malt base to showcase the yummy NZ/US combination of Nelson Sauvin and US Cascade hops. This time we used a new world hybrid ale yeast called Pomona (‘the goddess of fruit trees’) which spits out peachy, citrus and tropical fruit esters during fermentation adding even more fruitiness to the otherwise fruity dry hop combo.
NECTARILLO (5.2%) Hazy Pale Ale
Another delicious tropical stonefruit NZ/US hop combo, this time a pairing of Nectaron and Amarillo added during active fermentation using the Verdant hazy yeast strain.
SIMOTRILLO (5.7%) Hazy IPA
The name theme rolls on, in this case a triple heavy hop dose combo of US Simcoe, NZ Motueka and US Amarillo again with Verdant yeast. Juicy and fruity with mild bitterness but refreshingly light body for drinkability.
VOSSMOTRON (5.9%) Hazy IPA
A repeat pairing of NZ Motueka and Nectaron but this time on a hazy beer base and using a re-discovered Norwegian farmhouse yeast called ‘Voss’. Voss ferments best at a ludicrous 380C where it produces insane apricot/peach like esters to complement this epic NZ hop pairing. A slight farmhouse ‘twang’ from the yeast in this fruity beer produces a truly unique hazy.
SIMCOTRON (9.1%) Double IPA
Finish of the box with this badass big boy. Truckloads of Simcoe and Nectaron, but also a nice malt backbone and a touch of home-grown honey to balance bitterness, sweetness and dryness in this resin filled monster. Classic neutral Chico US05 yeast was used to gobble up the sugars in this sucker. Enjoy solo, or even better, share with a good friend.
